Snowpy Mountain: a new family adventure in La Toussuire

The La Toussuire – Les Sybelles ski area is introducing a new family-friendly zone: Snowpy Mountain. This fun area offers a place to ski, play, and take a break right in the heart of the resort. It allows skiers of all ages to share a unique experience between runs, featuring a mix of relaxation, speed, and snow-based games.

Snowpy Mountain comprises three complementary zones: Snowpy Relax, Snowpy Speed, and Snowpy Stars Camp.

Snowpy Relax: a family break on the slopes

Need to catch your breath after a few runs? Snowpy Relax offers a welcoming space to recharge before heading back out on the slopes.

Families will find XL hammocks, small cabins, wooden deckchairs, swings, and picnic tables—allowing everyone to enjoy the mountain at their own pace.

At the center of the area stands a giant sculpture of Snowpy, La Toussuire’s famous white rabbit. It is sure to become a favorite meeting spot for children.

Snowpy Speed: test your speed on a mini-speed skiing course

After relaxing, it’s time for speed! Snowpy Speed ​​invites skiers to test their performance on a mini-speed skiing course (or “KL” – *Kilomètre Lancé*).

The concept is simple: build up momentum, ski down the track, and see your speed at the finish line.

Totems mark the start and finish lines. An LED display then shows the speed achieved—perfect for setting up friendly challenges between children, parents, and friends!

The goal isn’t just about breaking records; Snowpy Speed ​​is primarily about experiencing the thrill of sliding in a fun, playful atmosphere.

Snowpy Stars Camp: a run full of surprises

With Snowpy Stars Camp, a standard run turns into a real playground.

This fun-filled course features various obstacles to discover as you ski down, including a gateway, a “high-five” hand, an archway, and even chimes.

Rotating hands and several Snowpy figures also line the course, keeping children active while they naturally work on their balance and skiing lines.

This approach adds variety to the day’s skiing and gives younger skiers fresh motivation to keep doing more runs.

600 m² dedicated to families

In total, Snowpy Mountain offers 600 m² of space for play and relaxation right in the heart of the ski area.

It provides a welcoming spot for families to gather; children can have fun while parents enjoy a break before heading back onto the slopes.

Snowpy Mountain enhances the family-friendly offerings at La Toussuire, providing a new way to experience the mountains with the youngest skiers.

How to get to Snowpy Mountain?

Snowpy Mountain is located at the base of the “2 Croix” ski lifts.

From La Toussuire, skiers can reach the area via the La Médaille d’Or chairlift, followed by the Pierre du Turc lift.

Furthermore, its location within the interconnected ski area makes it accessible from the various Les Sybelles resorts, notably via L’Ouillon.

You can easily include a stop at Snowpy Mountain during your day of skiing across the resort.
